Winegrowing looks back onto centuries of tradition in South Tyrol and today is more alive and thriving than ever. The Hotel Lagrein itself was built on what was a vineyard up until the 1970s. The South Tyrolean varietal Lagrein was grown here.
Because our local wine producers are very much aware that quality by far outweighs quantity, South Tyrol delivers some of Italy’s finest wines to the market every year. This trend is reflected in the our wine selection at the Hotel Lagrein. Savor a fine drop of South Tyrolean wine at our bar, on the terrace or with your dinner. Our favorite of course is the full-bodied, fruity but spicy Lagrein, to which our house owes its name and which we carry on our wine menu in different varieties from South Tyrol’s best wineries.
